Atlas Architectural Metals, Inc. is dedicated to the safety of its employees and customers. We go to great lengths to make sure we provide the highest quality aluminum available. Our aluminum manufacturing process meets, and / or exceeds, all government safety regulations.
Information regarding our aluminum products.
1. Do not block access to fire extinguishers or electrical breaker boxes.
2. Eye and hearing protection, quality hard soled work shoes, dust masks and gloves will always be worn in designated areas.
3. This is an alcohol and drug free workplace. Any violators will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including discharge.
4. Unsafe conditions shall immediately be reported to the shop foreman, maintenance and Safety Manager.
5. Only authorized personnel shall operate a forklift. Seatbelts will be fastened and posted speed limits obeyed at all times.
6. Only Maintenance Dept. personnel or properly trained employees may repair equipment.
7. Lock Out/Tag Out rules will be followed at all times. Only the Maintenance employee that LOTO the equipment or his Supervisor may remove the Lock Out/Tag Out device.
8. Only operate machines when their guards are secured properly. If the guards must be removed to perform repairs, they must be replaced before the repairs are considered complete.
9. Beware of hot metal and sharp edges.
10. Every employee is responsible for good housekeeping. Keep your area clean.
